Parks have advised that the Mt Field National Park alpine areas are presently closed and will remain so at least until the middle of next week – depending of course on how the fire situation develops in the South West. Unfortunately this means that the STSA first working bee for 2019 which was scheduled for tomorrow has had to be postponed to a future date.
Thanks to all the volunteers who were planning to head up to give a hand on the mountain tomorrow – enjoy a day off instead, and we look forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming STSA working bees (16-17 February, 16-17 march and 13-14 April 2019).
