Cross country skiing on Jeep Trail
Another snowy weekend at Mt Mawson has delivered a foot or more of clean powdery snow on the ski field, and a pile of slush around Lake Dobson! There was nothing on Friday, and then it has snowed steadily since. A few snowboarders and cross country skiers have been out, but after the warmest July in 132 years it seems this winter the snow is just teasing us. Conditions were good on the jeep trail, with grooming provided by the skiers and boarders!
