The STSA has the third of its Summer 2015 working bees on this weekend (21-22 March 2015).

There are plenty of tasks to help us get ready for the 2015 snow season, including carting timber slats to the top of the Mawson Run to complete a snow fence panel, painting the Rodway motor hut, and undertaking some repairs to the Belt Issue Hut. On Sunday we are taking delivery of three coils of rope to run a new tow line for the Mawson tow, so there is a great opportunity to learn about the joys of end-to end rope splicing!

The weather forecast is for sunny mild conditions – ideal for being productive on the mountain. Come along and join in – an STSA representative will be at the Lake Dobson Gate at 10:00 am on both days to welcome volunteers.
