The next STSA Working Bee will be on Saturday 21st February. As a few of our key volunteers are unavailable we have decided to shorten this working bee to Saturday only, leaving people free to enjoy other summer activities on the Sunday.
Our work plan to prepare the ski field for the 2015 season is as follows:
Saturday 21 Feb: Move timber frames up Mawson run to construct replacement snow fence panel structure (replacing existing damaged snowfence). Exterior painting of motor huts.
21-22 March: Move timber slats up Mawson run and attach to frames. Install new rope on Mawson tow. Exterior painting of motor huts.
18-19 April: Complete any tasks outstanding from previous working bees, test run motors and check ready for ski season.
Then just wait for the snow!
As always your assistance is welcome, and volunteers receive discounted ski tickets. Meet at the Lake Dobson gate at 10:00 am.
