We we were all so hopeful – gazing at the BOM forecast for Mt Field day after day after day. The forecasts were pretty good, then great, then less great, then pretty great again and then… pretty much a fizzer!
Even with what has fallen overnight, there’s still just not enough snow depth to safely operate, so the official call is to not run the tows this weekend.
The guys up on the mountain put in a huge effort and did a great job tidying up the work site in anticipation of us getting the season under way. So a big thanks to them for their hard work!
Well it’s back to the crystal ball folks, it’ll probably be just as effective as the BOM! 🙂
