Boarders trying out the Mawson tow last weekend

After a good days skiing today volunteers from the Hobart Walking Club and the Alpine Club of Southern Tasmania have advised that they will stay on the mountain to offer skiing to the Tasmanian public again tomorrow (Sunday 28 July). As you can see from the webcams there is still a reasonable base of packed snow, with a limited number of runs available down both Mawson and Uni tows. It’s definitely not Japan, but you can still try out a few turns on Tasmanian snow, with no queues!

Tows will be operating from 10:00 am Sunday.
