snow person reappears at Mt Mawson

Hooray! the snow person has reappeared. It’s good omen for Mount Mawson, but we still need one big dump to get us rolling.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday
Cloudy. Showers and the chance of thunderstorms. Snowfalls developing to 400 metres. Winds westerly 50 to 70 km/h.

Monday 6 August
Cloudy. Scattered showers with possible hail, falling as snow above 400 metres. Winds west to southwesterly 45 to 65 km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between minus 1 and 3 above zero with daytime temperatures reaching between 5 and 11.

Thursday 9 August
Partly cloudy. Scattered showers until late afternoon, falling as snow above 500 metres. Winds southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h, reaching 45 km/h at times, tending southerly up to 30 km/h later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between zero and 4 with daytime temperatures reaching between 5 and 11.
