The next working bee for the Southern Tasmanian Ski Association at Mt Mawson Ski Field is on this weekend, with the majority of helpers planning to head up on Saturday 24th March. As the weather begins to close in there is still much to do to get the ski field ready for this winter season, including repairing damaged snow fences on the Mawson run, removing the old tow rope that was replaced on the Uni run last season, servicing the motors and electrics and so on. Volunteers are always welcome, and will receive the added benefit of being able to ski during the coming season for the STSA Concession price of just $25 for a day ticket.

The weather forecast is for rain, but the working bee will still go ahead (our hardy volunteers might just work until they decide they are wet enough!) Be at the Lake Dobson gate at 10:00 am for access to the ski field.
