This weekend will see the first working bee at Mt Mawson Ski Field to commence construction of new snow fences supported by the Tasmanian Community Fund grant. The weather is looking a bit bleak for Sunday, so the STSA Committee have decided to get things underway with a one day working bee this Saturday 19th November before the weather packs in.

The initial load of timber to construct the tripods for the snow fences is already on the mountain (a big thanks to Craig Larsson for organising this) and so there will be plenty to do with carrying materials up to the snow fence site. We are looking for plenty of energetic helpers, so if you are able to assist please be at the Lake Dobson car park gate at 10:00 am on Saturday.

Hot drinks and snacks will be available, so is should be a fun day of improving the Mt Mawson Ski Field.

If you can’t  make it this Saturday, the next working bee will be on 10-11 December.
