Looking Promising, possible opening tomorrow (Sunday)

On mountain, the temps were still above zero last night and through to the early hours of this morning, there was a little wet snow falling and settling.

Temps have finally dipped below zero this morning, and it’s snowing on and off with very high winds. While the snow cam looks impressive, there’s only a thin layer of fresh snow covering bare spots, rocks and bushes.

The good news is that it’s now freezing the existing base and more snow is falling. We’ll do a proper walk and assessment on the ski field today, with the view to opening the tow on Sunday, if it looks at all possible.

If your keen to walk some runs today, then the Jeep trail has a good cover and will be out of the wind. I’ll update the report again this evening.
