Freshly painted Mawson Tow Hut April 2015

Mt Mawson Ski Field benefited from a bonus two day working bee this week, when Craig Larsson and George Brettingham Moore headed up the mountain to finish some tasks which couldn’t be completed in the snow last weekend. In magnificent calm, sunny conditions they completed the painting of the gable ends of the Mawson Tow Motor Hut, and also installed a new sheet of clear laserlite on the roof to replace a panel that blew away a few years ago.

Its looking great up at Mt Mawson – thanks guys!

Peter is Immediate past president of the STSA, and a member of the Oldina Ski Club. He has been coming to Mt Field for many years, and is an intermediate skier who can get down most black runs, but without much style.
