Partially completed snow fence repair – Mt Mawson 29 Jan 2017

STSA volunteers have been busy over the summer preparing the Mt Mawson Ski Field for the coming ski season, with a principal focus on repairing and optimising snow fences to capture any snow that falls. This weekend, on Sunday 19th March, STSA will be conducting its fourth working bee for the 2016/17 summer, with the aim being to complete the slatting of the new fence at the top of the Mawson run, as well as other sundry repairs. We may also continue tidying under the belt issue hut in preparation for the development of the new Mt Mawson Day shelter facility. If you are coming up to assist please be at the Lake Dobson Gate at 10:00 am.

The forecast is for a hot day, so don’t forget your sunscreen and hat!
