After a good start to the season, the forecast is for more fresh snow for this weekend (13-14 August). That is good news for skiers and boarders, and the ski tows at Mount Mawson Ski Field will be operating from 10:00 am on both days.

Note it is forecast to be windy, so rug up well for the conditions. It is also likely that you will need to carry chains, and take care on the Lake Dobson Road.

STSA volunteers from the Oldina Ski Club will be operating the tows, with the support of volunteers from the Mt Mawson Ski Patrol. We look forward to seeing you on the mountain for another weekend of great Tasmanian winter activity!
