Mt Mawson run – September spring skiing

Winter has not quite departed Southern Tasmania, and the BOM is forecasting more snow this weekend. Volunteers from the Alpine Club of Southern Tasmania, Hobart Walking Club and other STSA clubs are heading up to Mt Mawson Ski field for the weekend, and the plan is to operate the ski tows on both Saturday and Sunday. The forecast is for snow to fall above 500 metres on both days, so snow conditions should be good – particularly in the mornings.

Come in and join in the fun – and you can always watch the footy on replay!
