Yoo hoo! There’s 40+ cm of snow across the slopes up here. I just had a midnight run down the jeep trail… Lovely! The whole place is transformed! Peter and Karen have just been to the top of Mawson and skied down, they report that its pretty fresh and soft and hard work on crossies – Tassie powder at it’s best! There’s no real base beneath, so the right gear and some caution is required.
Our intention is to run the Mawson tow tomorrow, we just have to get the final nod from the ski patrol in the morning and we’ll be away.
