The last pre-winter working bee for this season will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April.

Saturday 12th – plan is to repair damaged snow fence panels on Uni run, and if time permits, improve the strength and appearance of a couple of panels on the Mawson run. STSA has purchased some additional treated pine beams and slats which will be delivered to the mountain on Saturday morning.

Sunday 13th – TOW MANAGER TRAINING and Pre-Season testing of tows. Ambrose Canning has offered to run refresher training on the operation of Mawson and Uni tows – including undertaking the pre-season test runs of both tows. This training is especially important for those listed as Tow Managers for the STSA affiliated Ski Clubs.

If time permits further snow fence work and tidying up can be done.

Come along and get involved in preparing the Mt Mawson ski field for the 2014 ski season – all welcome.
